Justin Jiménez

My goal is to harness the digital tools shaping our communication to create spaces that embody collaboration and community. The platforms that define our online experience were often not made by or for marginalized communities, and I hope to make that more of a reality through my work.

Before making the leap to software development, I worked at the nexus of nonprofit organizations centered on education and access to the arts as well as grassroots organizing and journalism. My career has ranged from working on hyperlocal missions to fill gaps in mentorship for youth to using action-oriented educational travel and documentary journalism to target harmful foreign policy.

On any team that I am a part of, I look to bring a caring and collaborative spirit with an eye for creative solutions. Additionally, my experience working in dynamic international and multilingual spaces has helped me forge a global mindset when considering impact and access.
